  • Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Familiarity with test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright).
  • Knowledge of cloud and on-premises virtualization environments is highly desired.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with great attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Job Description & Overview

The Quality Assurance Analyst ensures quality standards for company products through systematic testing processes. This includes developing, modifying, and executing software test strategies, plans, and suites, as well as analyzing and documenting test results to assist in debugging and software modification. The QA Analyst may also develop tools to automate test execution and collaborate with development engineers to resolve issues.

Management Level Definition

This role contributes to assignments of limited scope, applying technical knowledge gained through training, education, or prior experience. The QA Analyst acts as a team member, providing information, analysis, and recommendations to support team goals. The role requires independent judgment within defined guidelines.

Responsibilities

 

  • Collaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to define test plans, test cases, and quality objectives.
  • Execute test plans for assigned code portions, including end-user applications, system software, and firmware on various platforms (local, networked, cloud-based). Log, debug, and resolve identified issues.
  • Design, implement, and execute automated test scripts for functional, integration, and regression testing.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external development partners regarding software design and development.
  • Perform manual and exploratory testing to identify platform issues and validate new features.
  • Establish and maintain QA documentation, including defect tracking and reporting systems.
  • Monitor and analyze QA metrics to improve testing efficiency and overall product quality.
  • Advocate for quality across the development lifecycle, contributing to requirements analysis, design reviews, and sprint planning.
  • Identify opportunities to optimize testing workflows and tools to drive continuous improvement in QA practices.
